deafe old Man as Major Boarman is, Wherefore this Boarde
proposes that the said Indians bounds be againe run out as
the same Books are expressed on Record in the Councill
Books of the Lord Baltimore, And that no Person be pmitted
to seate or dwell w^thin their Bounds unless such Indians have
given their Consent and ratifyed the same according to former
Ordinances of Assembly

Came M^r Tilghman Who brought from the house the fol-
lowing Message and Address to his Ma^ty for passing the Act
for Establishing of Religion viz

May the 9^th 1700

Proposed by a Member of this House whether it be not
Reasonable a Copy of the Act for Religion, & the address to
his Majesty be Committed to the Care of Doctor Bray to be
sent for England, if to his Ex^ncy & Councill it shall seem fit

The Bill for assessing the publick Leavye was read at the
Board and ordered to be thus endorsed
This Bill will pass leaving out the Clause touching the
money & disposing it, for this Boarde hold it not at all
advisable to leave the publick Bancke quite Empty especially
untill such tyme as the face of affairs is better Settled.

Proposed that some psons be appointed by the House
before they breake up to draw Orders upon the Treasurers
