Capt Benjn Hall & Mr Walter Campbell bring the Bill for
assessing the publick Charge of this Province, which was read
& assented to, & the honble Thomas Brook Esqr and Colonel
John Hamond are appointed of the Councill to be joyned
with the houses Members.
The house ordered to be acquainted therewith & the Bill
sent back by Mr Frisby & Colonel Jenkins.
Colonel Thompson again brings up the Bill impowering
the Comittee to lay and. assess the Publick Levye this year
which was read & Assented to by his Matys honble Councill &
sent back to the house by Mr Robert Smith
Cap' Mr Sanders & Cap' Hill who say they are ordered to
acquaint the Boarde that their House have no further business
lying before them
Col: Courts & Col Hamond sent to require Mr Speaker
and the house of Delegates imediately to attend his Exncy in
Councill & to bring wth them what Bills they have to present.
Accordingly came Mr Speaker with the Members of the
House and present to his Exncy for his Matys assent viz. The

several Bills assented to this Sessions — together with an
Address to his Maty to Establish the Act of Religion
His Excellency on his Matys behalfe pleased to Assent to
the said Laws which he did by Subscribing his Name and
Causing his Majestys Great Seale of this Province to be
affixed thereto
Then Prorogued the Genll Assembly untill the 9th day of
July ensuing W Bladen Cl Concil.

London 11th Decbr 1699

Invoyce of a parcel of Arms on board the owners adven-
ture Francis Harbin for Maryland on the Acct & risque of the
said Province of Maryland.
