Read the Petition of Mrs Ann Blake widdow and Relict
of Capt Thos Blake late Sheriffe of Calvert County de-
ceased shewing that her said husband died just before
March Court and that it would be a great Detriment to his
Estate unless his Excellency would be pleased to grant her

the Benefit of the said March Court and that he would be
pleased to order Mr George Parker whom his Excellency is
pleased to appoint Sheriff of that County to Grant Deputations
to her late Husbands under Sheriffs to collect & Execute all
publick & County Levys due to the said Mr Blake till the 10th
of April next which his Excelcy is pleased to order accordingly
The Board adjourned till 8 of the Clock to morrow morning

Wednesday March 25th 1702

The Council in Assembly met Present as yesterday Saving
Col John Addison
Came Mr William Hutchinson & Mr Philip Lynes with the
additional bill for securing Orphans Estates assented to by the
House which was also read here, and assented to by this
Board and sent back to the House by Col Edward Lloyd and
Lieutt Col William Holland
Mr Hutchinson and Mr Lynes brought also this Resolve
from the House viz

By the House of Delegates March 25th 1702

Resolved by the House that the publick Treasurer of the
Western Shoar immediatly pay unto his Excellcy the Govr
200lb Sterl a moiety of the Donation and that this Resolve
shall be his warrant
Signed p order W: Taylard Cl Ho Del.

Which was assented to by this Board
Signed p order W Bladen Cl Council

Came Mr William Harris and five other members with the
Bill for apportioning the publick Levy and the Houses Re-
solve about an Agent &c. which is as followeth

Province and the opinion of his Majesty's hon:ble Council and
their Proposal with his Excellency's Regard and generous
