Journal.

And it is resolved by unanimous Consent that his Excel-
lency be and is hereby appointed agent for this Province up-
on the Terms proposed which we thankfully accept the Time
to Commence from his Excellency's first Arrival in England
Signed p order W Taylard Cl Ho Del.

The Bill for apportioning the publick Levy read twice at the
Board & sent to the House
Came Mr John Hall and Mr Bosmane & present Mr Peter
Dent a member elected for Somersett County instead of Mr
James Round deceased who took the Oaths appointed by Act
of Parliament and Subscribed the Test & Association
Capt Benjamin Hall and Mr Philemon Lloyd came with the
bill for apportioning the publick Levy which was read and as-
sented to by this Board and sent to the House by Col John
Hammond and Mr James Sanders
Came Mr Benjamin Hall and Mr Philemon Lloyd and bring
up the several Bills this sessions assented to by the House viz

An Act for Establishment of religious worship in this Prov-
ince according to the Church of England and for maintenance
of Ministers
An Act for relief of Kent & Calvert Countys
An Act for Naturalization of Hermanus Schee Gent. Isaac
Vanbebber Gent Matthias Vanbebber Mercht and Derick
Cholickman Planter all of Cecil County James Brovard and
James Brovard John Brovard & Solomon Brovard his sons of
Kent County and Sebastian Oley of Ann Arundel County
An Act for making valid the last Will & Testamt of Edwd
Mann late of Talbott County deceased
An Act prohibiting Horse racing on Saturdays
An Act for preservation of Orphans real Estates.
An Act impowering a Committee to lay asses & apportion
the publick Levy for this present year 1702
Which were all assented to by his Excellcy the Governour
and his Majesty's honourable Council his Excellency is pleased
in his Majesty's name to declare them to be Laws & ordered
to be sealed with the great Seal of the Province Separately

which was accordingly done in Presence of the Assembly

Mr Speaker and the House of Delegates presented the Ad-
dress to his Majesty Subscribed by the whole House
Then his Excellency was pleased to prorogue them until the
28th day of April next Ensuing
