Matys Subjects from the Algerines Concerning which I take
this Oportunity of acquainting you that besides what is Con-
teined in the Instructions for disposal thereof his Maty has by
his late Order in Councill directed that they shall be delivered
out without any other Charge whatever than the Duty for the
Stamps, so that it will be necessary you give Strict Orders
herein to the Person you Employ in this Affair.
What I have more to Add is, That the Southampton a
Ship of the 4th Rate will Soon be ready to proceed on her
Voyage to relieve the Shoram that attends on your Gov-
ernmt and therefor I am Comanded by my Lords to desire
that the said Ship Shoram may no: be out of the Way when
the Southampton arrives but that she may be ready to Come
for England so soon as her Comander receives Orders by the
Southampton for doing thereof.

The Lincoln also a Ship of the fourth rate is fitting out and
soon will proceed to Cruise on the Coast of America so that
it is hoped you will be freed from the Pyrates that have in-
fected you. Sr

His Excellency requires the Board to give their Advice
whether the Ships now outward bound from the Province
should be att present Imbargoed and obliged to Call upon
the Shoram att the Mouth of James' River in Virginia and
take her Convoy home, To which all the Board saving Mr
Frisby & Mr Tench say that they do not think it Advisable
for that we have recd no Certainty of a War declared.
But that the Several Collectors & Navall Officers give
Notice to the Several Masters of Ships Clearing with them
that they may if they think fitt for their better Security Call in
Virginia and take the oportunity of the Shoram's Convoy of
which his Excy the Governor of Virginia has been so kind to
give Notice to this Government.
Read some proceedings of his Excy the Governor and
Councill in Virginia relating to Capt Peter Cood and his
Matys Advice Boat the Messenger under his Comand which
was as follow vizt
