Ordered that Mr James Frisby and Mr Robert Smith carry
this Message to the house vizt

By his Excellency the Governor & Councill
May the 13th 1701.

If you are come to any Resolutions in reference to the
Proposed Matter of the Conference this Board are desirous
to be acquainted therewith
Signed p Order W Bladen Cl Concil.

The Petition of the Vestrymen of St James' Parish in Ann
Arundel County read praying an Act of Assembly to Oblige
and Impower Thomas Tench Esqr to lay out & Ascerteine
one hundred Acres of Land given the Church of that Parish
by Mrs Elizabeth Rigby & her Husband Mr James Rigby.
Ordered that the said Petition be recomended to the house
of Delegates for such Act to be prepared & Passed this Ses-
sions.
The Petition of Mr Peregine Brown praying remittance ot
26lb the Duty of 26 Negros who died before Sale or any Ad-
vantage made of them is read & referred to the House of
Delegates.
The Petition of the Inhabitants of the upper End of King
& Queen Parish & the Inhabitants of William & Mary Parish
in Charles County being read is referred to the house for an

Act to be made for reddress of their Complaint
The Widow Morton's Petition read & recomended to the
Charitable Consideration of the house.
The Petition of Jasper Yates of Pensilvania Mercht Pray-
ing that Mr Nicholas Milburns Estate in this Province may be
sold for payment of his Just Debts.
Also the Petition of Mr Robert Grundy & Mr Nicholas Low
Exrs of the said Milburn praying the Same read & recom-
ended to the house for an Act to be prepared therefore wch
was sent to the house by Mr Smith and Mr Jenkins.
The Petition of Col William Whittington late Sheriffe of
Somersett County read praying remittance of a ffine of 1000l
of Tobbo for not returning his Writts in time upon good rea-
sons shewn vizt
