William the third &ca to the Sheriff of St Marys County Greeting we Command you that you take John Cood late of St Marys County Gent if he shall be found in your Bailywick & him safe keep so that you have this Body before the Justices of our Provincial Court to be held at our port of Annapolis in Anne Arundel County on the tenth day of this instant octo ber to Answer unto Geo Plater Esqr his Majestys Attorney Genl of the Province of Maryland who for his Majesty in this Behalf prosecuteth of a plea that he render unto the said George who for his Majesty in this behalf prosecuteth his reasonable Accot of the time that he was receiver of the money of his Majesty which to render he Ought &c hereof fail not at your peril & have you there this writt witness Rob ert Smith Esqr Chief Justice of our said Court this 5th day of 8ber Anno Dni 1696
