Maryland ss John Cood late of St Marys County Gent was Summoned to answer unto Geo Plater Esqr Attorney Genl of this Province who &ca prosecuteth for our Lord the King of a plea that he render his reasonable Accot for the time that he was receiver of the Kings money which to Render he ought And whereupon Geo Plater Attorney General aforesaid who for our Lord the King prosecuteth saith that whereas the said John Cood was & stood receiver of our Lord & Lady the King & Queen that then were at Wicocomico River in St Marys County aforesaid from the 20th of September 1689 to the 16th of August in the Year of our Lord 1690 then next ensuing & had the Care & Collection of divers Sums of money due and payable, to our said Lord & Lady the King & Queen that then were & by the time aforesaid did receive our Bill of Exco of Joseph Norcotts for Six Pounds Seventeen Shillings, Bills of Exco of Samuel Gillams for fifteen pounds nine Shillings and four pence, Bills of Exco of Abraham Fifields for nine pounds Fifteen Shillings & four pence, Bills of Exco of Mark Whitson for nineteen pounds fourteen Shil lings, Bills of Willm Wraxall for Fifty nine pounds fifteen Shillings, Bills of Ino Walker for Eighteen pounds sixteen Shillings, Bills of John Howells for Sixty pounds six shillings & eight pence, Amounting to one hundred & ninety pounds thirteen Shillings & Four pence, more Bills of William Brown ings for twenty Nine pounds Seventeen Shillings & four pence, p. 116 Bills of Gilbert Livesy for twenty five pounds three Shillings & Six Pence Bills of Richard Robins for ninteen pounds two shillings & four pence Sterl in all amounting to two hundred Sixty four pounds sixteen Shillings & six Pence also Bills of Exco of Thomas Gravers driwn on Captain Hopes for Ben- dali & Mr Robert Warner Mercht in London for Fifty nine pounds eighteen shillings & four pence three Bills of Caleb Tilleys drawn upon Mr Henry Cane & Company owners of the Ship of Peace of Plymouth for fifteen pounds fourteen shilling & eight Pence, Bills drawn by John Clark on Alder man Thomas Johnson Mercht in Liverpool for seven pounds Six Shillings, Bills of Thomas Leach's drawn upon Mr John Smith & Compa Merchts in Biddeford for Nineteen pounds
