Serenissimo Dno nro Gulielmo tertio Dci Gratia Angliae Scotiae ffrancae et hiberniae Regi heredibus Vel Successoribus Suis ad quamquid Solucone bene et fiellr faci end Obhigamus Nos et quembet nrüm hered Exrs & Adrnres nro3. ct quoslibet eorundem pro toto ct in Solido Seperatim & Conjunctim firmtr. per prsentes has Sigil nro Sigillat Dat Decimo tertio die Maij Anno Regni Dni Regis Decimo An noq Dni 1698 The Condition of the above obligation is Such that Whereas the above bounded Samll Watkins is by his Excy ffrancis Nicholson Esqr his Matys Capt gen” and Govr in Chiefe in and over his Province of Maryland aforesd Appointed and Commissionated to be Navall Officer of the District of Putux ent in the Province of Maryland, Now if so be that the said Sam” Watkins shall well and faithfully Execute the said Office Vsuant to the Severall Acts of Trade and Navigation and Especially the hate Act of Parliamt made ano Septimo & Octavo Gulielmi Tertij Regis Entituled an Act for prventing frauds and Regulateing Abuses in the Plantation Trade and the Oath by him taken before his said Excy the Governor in Councill according to the directions of the said Act for the true and faithfull pformance of his Duty Then this Obligation to be Voyd otherwise to remaine in full forcc and Virtue Signed Sealed and delivered in the prsence of ffra: Nicholson S Watkins [Seal] Richd Hill Tho: Tench [Seal] Thomas Tasker Robert Smith [Seal]
[High Sheriff's Bond.] Maryland ss Know all men by these prsents that we Henry Lowe, Henry Iowles Esqr & William Barton in the Province aforesd gent are holden and firmly bounden unto his Sacred Majesty King William the 3d &c. in the full Sume and lust quantity of two hundred Thousand pounds of good Sound Merchantable Leafe Tobb: & Cask to be payd unto his Said Majesty his heires & Successors To the which paymt well and truly to be made we bind our Selves and either of us our & either of our heires Exrs and Admrs Ioyntly and Severally for the whole & in the whole firmly by these prsents As wittness our hands and Seales this Eighteenth day of May in the 10th Year of his Majesties Reigne &c. Anoq Dni 1698 The Condition of the Above Obligation is Such that if the above bounden Henry Lowe do well and Truly Serve his said Majesty his heires and Successors in the Office of high Sherriffe of the County of St Marys within this Province and
