This is to Certifie tht Henry Bird Mr of P. 192 the Willm and Elizabeth from Maryland Plantation built Birden Thirty Tons Navigated with Seaven men, Came to the Custome House (the Ship being English built) on the eighth day of August 1693 and did there & then enter his Vessell of the Particular goods following (Viz) one hundred and two hhds with a Small Parcell of Bulk Tobbacco from Maryland and 2 hundred Weight of Sasafrax, with twenty five hundred pounds of Bulk Tobbacco delivered att King Sale in Ireland as p Ships Entry Dated as Above as above written Examd the 26th November 1697 G Issacson p Coll.
Govnor Nicholson and London 4th December 1697 whom it May Concerne Respected ifriends This will be brought by Capt Ioseph Collman Master of the Ship Dover Merchant for the Loading Whereof we request yU take his Bills on us for the Maryland Dutys and Porte Charges of what Tobb: she may take on Board without Oblieg ing him to other security We hereby Engage to pay his Bills for the said Duty and Porte Charges also whatsoever tht please shew him or our supra Cargoe Amos Garrett the same shall be allways and duly acknowledged wherein we may Your Oblieged & ready Servts James Brayne Benjamin Besayn Richd Hayns
