Maryland ss: His Exncys Sr Answer to Capt Douglass I had the ifavour of yors of the 4th instant two Lre days agoe with a Pacquet and Lres for WCh I desire you will please to Accept of my hearty thanks. I am very Glad it hath pleased God to give you a Safe Arrivall in Virga I have given Orders for making publick in this his mats Province the day on you intend to Sail for England tht our Ships and Vessells may goe under yor Convoy and inclosed is a list of them. If your Occasions will give you leave I shall be very Glad of having the ffortune of Seeing you here, but if I can be any ways Serviceable to you upon Notice it shall be done by yor very humble Servant ffr: Nicholson
