Mr Plater Came George Plater Esq Collr &c of Petuxant makes Oath . to severall District and his Mats Attorney Genll of this Prov Lists of Ships ince and made Oath to Severall lists of Ships and & of persons Names agt lists of persons Names agt whom Judgmts have whom his been Obtain'd for his Maty upon Navigacon Bonds Maty has ob tain'd and nf such as are now in Suite &ca p. 517 His Exncy is pleas'd to Demand of the Board if they have any thing further to Offer at prsent who Say they hay not.
By his Exncy the Governr &ca June 15th 1697. ffield Officers Ordered that the ffield Officers take Care to Order' d to View & change View the Pub!ick Powder belonging to the re the publick spective Counties and see that it be Conveniently powdr & get the Arms fixt placed and what cannot be sold this Year that &c: Care be taken the same may be changed, and the Tobo Leavyed this ifall to make up the loss pursuant to the Ordinance of last Assembly herewith sent. It being Imagin'd that if the Same should not be changed this Year it will be totally Spoyled, and lost to the Countrey And it is hereby further Ordered that the Severall Arms be put out to be ffixed and that they also be conveniently placed and well kept pursuant to the Sd Ordinance. Man of Warr & some Merchant Ships in this Port on the 2: instant in ten weeks passage from Portsmouth there being a small Pacquitt and 5 other Letters Committed to my Care Directed for you have for the more Speedy Conveyance thereof delivered them to Mr Wm Edwards Mercht in James Town who will forward them by an Express I being only to Continue in this Colony 30 days and no longer and then to Return home again with what merchant Ships is Ready to Joyn me in that time Desiring tht if there be any in yor Colony that is or may be ready to Sail with me at the Expir ation of my limited time tht they may have Notice to repair
