Greenfeild Mr Ion Worthington Mr Tho: Ennalls Mr Benja
Hall Mr Iacob Loockerman & Mr Tho: Beale Carry the sd
Bills to his Excy & Councill who returne & say they have
deliverd the same.
The Honble Thomas Tench & Coll Ion Addisson Enter the
house and Returne Back the following Bills (viz)

A Bill for stay of Execution after the Tenth of April
A Bill for Amerciamts in the Provll and County Courts
A Bill for Appeales and Regulateing writts of Error
A Bill for the Speedy Conveying of Lrs
A Bill to Impower the Vestery Men to assess theire Parish-
ioners.
Which said Bills being Remarked for some amendmts were
amended and past for Engrossing.
The Gent of his Majties Honble Councill allsoe brought with
them a Coppy of a Lr sent by his Excy to Lords of the Coun-
cil of Trade and Plantations on behalf of the psons in this
Province Concerned in Navigation Bonds as allsoe this follow-
ing Message

Gent:
My Zeale has not been wanting to become a mediator for
what you Desire in yor Address as you will pceive by a Coppy
of a Lr herewith sent you wch I wrote to the Lords Comrs of
Trade and plantations upon that Topick & my Endevours
and Interest shall not be wanting to my friends at home to
assist you when it is put in a method for Solicitation I have
a very Tender Concerne for those unfortunate psons that are
vndr the Lash of those Bonds I shall allsoe recomend it to the
Lords Comrs of Trade and Plantations But reguard of my
Station & his Majtys Instructions it will not become me to
Ioyne in Subscription or address as a ptye but shall very
readily Give yors all the favour and Ease that Lyes in me to
pmote its success I am yor Humble Serv'
Iuly 15th 1699. N Blakistone

Resolved that an answer be Drawne up to returne his Excy
the thanks of this house
