sum of money wch was raised by the Act of Assembly upon
fifurrs &c and wch was not due to the Publick but to the ffree
Schoole.
Ordrd that the said Accott be inspected and if such Mistacke
be found that it be rectified and the money applyed to the
right vse.
The Comittee for Considering of Elections and Priviledges
Enter the house and prsent as followes

At a Comittee of Elections & Priviledges appoynted by the
house of Delegates held the sixth day of Iuly 1699 Prsent

Mr Wm Harris Chairman
Mr Iohn Leech
Mr William Taylard.

The said Comittee having Considered the Election of Mr
Ion Worthington a Member Elected to serve for Ann Arundell
County.
The said Comittee Doe find and report that the said Capt
Ion Worthington has been duely Elected according to Law &
Indentures returned accordingly
Will Harris

Ordrd that Mr Walter Campbell & Mr Tho. Hicks goe to
his Excy and Councill & pray his Excy that he will be pleased
to send some of his Majties Honble Councill to Administer the
Oathes to Capt Ion Worthington A member newly Elected to
serve for ann arundell County.
Who returne and say they have deliverd their Message
Ordrd that Majr Edwd Dorsey appear before this house.

Major Edwd Dosey Enters.

Proposed to Majr Edwd Dorsey whither he will Submitt to
such fine as this Genll Assembly shall impose upon him for his
neglect in not Carrying on finishing and Compleating of the
Church according to his Contract and agreemt or whither he
will stand Tryall at Common Law and have a suit Commenced
agt him for Damages.
Majr Dorsey answers that he will submitt to wtsoever fine
this Genll Assembly shall impose upon him for his not Carry-
ing on finishing and Compleating the said Church Provided
that he may be Discharged from prosecuting the said building
The Honble ffrancis Ienkins Esqr Mr Wm Bladen Clk of his
Majties Honble Councill who Informe this house that they are
sent to administer the Oathes appoynted by Act of parliamt
