In Consequence of what you wrote me some Time ago, I
informed the Council that you had engaged 50 Hhds of Tobacco
and we depended upon you for that Quantity. The Price of
Tobacco has taken a greater Rise than was expected, and we
shall make you a further Allowance. The Council wants 10
Hhds more to compleat a Load for a Vessel they are sending
to Sea and will be obliged to you to furnish the Quantity, so
as to make, in the Whole 60 Hhds The Tobacco we doubt not
but you will get upon the best Terms, and the Money shall be
