Tuesday 28 April 1778

Present as on yesterday.
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer Pay to Mr.
Richardson five thousand Dollars out of the money remitted
by Congress for the Purchase of Provisions to be delivered
over to Col. Joseph Dashiell Purchaser in Worcester County.
That Mr. Crysall deliver to Capt Deshon 6 Barrels Bread 1 Bar-
rel flour, 2 Barrels Beef & 3 Barrels Pork for the Schooner
Molly.

In Council Annapolis 28th Apl 1778
Sir.
You will receive by Mr John Richardson five thousand
Dollars for the Purchase of Provisions, it being as much as
we can, at present send, and hope you will get your Provisions
collected as fast as possible and sent forward. We expect
in a few Days to have a Galley stationed in the sound for the
Protection of our Vessels. When we have a Council, shall
write you fully on every Subject contained in your Letter.
