Mr Ogle's Mills, to be sent down to Baltimore and delivered
to the Issuing Commissary there, taking Receipts. Advise us
from Time to Time of your Success. What Wheat Mr Crom-
well may collect, we would have ground up by some good
Mill in the Neighbourhood, and concerning that and what may
be made at Mr Johnson's Mill, we will give future Directions,
which will depend a good deal on the State of Mr Murdock's
Affairs

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Ens.
Edward Sims of the 1t Maryland Regiment two thousand Dol-
lars in leiw of the Articles for the present Year allowed by an
Act of Assembly
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Alexander Lawson
Smith of the Rifle Battalion two thousand Dollars in leiw of
the Articles &ca
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Noah Reeves a 9
Mo Soldr in the 6th Regimt discharged the amt of Twelve
Pounds in Cloathing, also six Pounds, fifteen shillings in Cloath-
ing for the use of Michael Rawark a 9 Mo Soldr the 4th Regimt
Dischd and also to Andrew Craven a 9 Mo Soldr in the 6th
Regt Dischd the amt of nine Pounds ten shillings in Cloathing
due them by an Act of Assembly to procure Troops for the A.
Army.
A Petition of Edmund Talbot, Mathew Talbot and Sundry
other Inhabitants of Harford County complaining of an undue
and irregular Election of Sheriffs for the said Coty being pre-
sented to this Board. It is ordered that an Hearing on the
said Petition be had before the Governor & Council at
Annapolis on Monday the Ist day of November next and that
a Copy of this Order be served on James Horner & also on
Thomas Dorsey on or before Saturday the 23d Day of this
Instant and that Summons's issue for Witnesses on the Appli-
cation of any of the Parties
