Wednesday Ist September 1779

Present as on Yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt
Beriah Maybury one hundred and forty six Pounds eighteen
shillings & ten Pence p Acct passed by the Ad. Genl and also
the further Sum of One hundred Pounds on Account
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt
Richard Davis of the Rifle Battalion One hundred and Fifty
Pounds due him by the Resolution of the Genl Assembly
passed in 1778 and also the further Sum of One hundred and
Fifty Pounds for the use of Lieut Isaac McCrackin of the 6th
Regimt due him by the same Resolution
That the said Treasurer pay to the said Richard Davis of
the Rifle Batt. two thousand Dollars for himself and two
thousand Dollars for Lieut Isaac McCrackin of the 6 Regimt
in leiw of the Articles for the present Year allowed by the late
Act of Assy
That the said Treasurer pay to the said Capt Richard Davis
Fifty four Pounds due himself also two hundred and fourteen
Pounds, eleven shillings and Eight pence and Fifteen Pounds
for the use of Colo Lemuel Barret p Accts passed by the Aud.
Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to James Govane Ten thousand
Pounds to pay for Provisions Purchased to be Accounted for
That the said Treasurer pay to Jonathan Parker Fifty Pounds
for riding express p Account passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson Junr Ninteen
Pounds & ten Pence for the use of John Haymond Nicholls &
five Pounds one Shilling for the use of James Shields p Accts
passed by the Aud Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to William Ridgely Six Pounds
p Acct passed by the Depy Aud.

Thursday 2d September 1779

Present as on Yesterday. Daniel Carroll Esq. Attended.
Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut
Sadler 46 pair Leathr Breeches, for the use of the non Com-
missioned Officers & Privates of the Baltimore Mats and
Charged to the Continent also 14 Coats & 24 Hats part of
Deficient Cloathing of Smiths Compy in 1777
That the said Commissary deliver to James Berry a 9 Mo
Soldr in the 7th Regt Dischd Twenty nine Pounds, ten shillings
in Cloathing due himself and also Twenty nine Pounds ten
shillings in Cloathing for the use of Joseph Alsop who was a
9 Mo Soldr in the same Regt Discharged, due them p Act of
Assembly to procure Troops for the A. Army
