That the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Doyle
Sixty five Pounds due him p Account passed by the Aud.
Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut. Perry Benson of the
5 Maryld Regt two thousand Dollars to be expended in the
Recruiting Service & also two thousand Dollars in leiw of the
Articles for the present year allowed by the late Act of
Assembly
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Edward Gale, ten
thousand Dollars to Pay the Bounty to the Matrosses entered
into the Continental Service by Act of Assembly
That the said Treasurer pay to the said Capt Edward Gale
two thousand Dollars in leiw of the Articles for the Present
Year allowed by the late Act of Assembly.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut
Samuel Sadler Eight thousand Dollars to pay the Bounty to
the Matrosses entered into the Continental Service by Act of
Assembly
That the said Treasurer pay to the said Lieut Samuel Sadler
One thousand Dollars to be delivered over to the Baltimore
Matrosses in leiw of the retained Part of their Rations and the
extra work done at the Fort on Whetsone Point
That the said Treasurer pay to the said Lieut Samuel Sad-
ler two thousand Dollars in leiw of the Articles for the present
year allowed by the late Act of Assembly

Friday 3d September 1779

Present as on Yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut
Jacques Bagness of the Matross Compy ordered to Camp, two
thousand Dollars in leiw of the Articles allowed him for the
present year according to the late Act of Assembly
That the said Treasurer pay to John Townley Thirty seven
Pounds, five shillings per Account passed by the Depy Aud.
It appearing to this Board from Letters now produced from
Major General Nathaniel Green Quarter Master General dated
the 18 day of May and the 2d day of August last directed to
Colo Henry Hollingsworth of Cecil County that he the said
Henry Hollingsworth is Deputy Quarter Master General in
this State of the Appointment of the said Quarter Master
General, he is approved as such and Licence is hereby granted
to the said Henry Hollingsworth according to the Act of
Assembly in such Case lately made and Provided to act and
transact in this State as Deputy Quarter Master aforesaid
Edward Gale is appointed Captain, Samuel Sadler Captain
