Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John
Bruce six Pounds two shillings and six pence due him per
Acct passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to James Taylor one hundred
Pounds on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Beatty sixty Pounds,
twelve shillings to be delivered over to Cap Richard Haff due
to the Guard over the Magazine per Account passed and also
the further Sum of One hundred and Fifty Pounds to be
expended in the Purchase of provisions for that guard on
Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Woolf Forty five
Pounds for the use of Alexander Ogg per Account passed by
the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Purviance one
thousand nine hundred and twenty Pounds, twelve shillings
and six pence to be delivered over to Samuel & Robert
Purviance on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Como Thomas Grason Five
hundred Pounds to be applied toward paying off the Crew of
the Chester Galley & to be accounted for
Commissions issued to John Nicholson appointed Capt.
James Handy Ist Lieut Thomas Doyle 2d Lieut, and Robert
Roberts third Lieut of the Conqueror Galley

Maryland
A Proclamation

Whereas the House of Senate stands adjourned to the
third Monday in October next and the House of Delegates
stands adjourned to the last Monday in September next and
Affairs of high Importance and concern proper for the
Consideration of the General Assembly requiring a Meeting
as soon as well may be, I have therefore with the advice of
the Council appointed Thursday the fifteenth Day of July
next for the meeting & holding of the General Assembly of
this State of which the several Sheriffs are hereby enjoined to
give public and due notice
Given at Annapolis this seventeenth Day of June in the
year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy
nine
