[Council to Members of Assembly.]
In Council Annapolis 13th Febry 1779
Sir. Circular
The pressing Demands of the Army for Flour have forced
us to call the Assembly to meet the second Day of March.
The Occasion would not allow us to consult our own Incli-
nations or the Convenience of the Gentlemen, to all of whom
we write, in Hopes that a General Attendance at the Day will
prevent an irksome Attendance to the few who, otherwise may
be delayed for Want of a sufficient Number of Members
We are Sir &ca
Members of the
Genl Assembly

[Council to Grason.]
In Council Annapolis 15th Febry 1779
Sir.
You'll send the Conqueror Galley to Baltimore Town and
leave her in the Care of Capt Nicholson who will have her
thrown down and put in Order; let an Inventory be taken of
what is in her; the Captain and the Men may return again in
the Plater. If, as perhaps may be the Case, Capt Nicholson
should have no careful Hands to take immediate Charge of
the Galley and Stores, an Officer and two Men may be left
with her.
We are &ca
Commodore Grason
