Jacob Manly, John Moody, Alexander Moody, Jacob
Johnson, Sampson Currer, James See, Thomas Murphy,
Francis Boyce, Isaac Hyland, James Roach, Philip Roach,
Thomas Burman, John Veazey, John Rawlings, Hyland Price,
Richard Hodson Menassa Logue, Ephraim Logue, Rebecca
McCay, Robert Mansfield, Robert Thompson, Richard Thomp-
son, Iunr Edward Shields, Elizabeth Latham, and George
Catto appear to this Board to be in Similar Circumstances
with the Persons named in and relieved by the said recited
Act and that each of them who is male hath taken & Subscribed
the Oath or Affirmation of Fidelity & Support to this State as
directed and prescribed by the Act for the better Security of
the Government. Wherefore the Governor & Council do by
Virtue of the Power conferred on them in and by the said
recited Act hereby give the like Relief and Allowance as to
and concerning the Public Assessment or Assessments made
before the Beginning of the last Session of the General
Assembly to and in favour of all and every of the Persons
herein before named as is given by the said recited Act to and
in Favour of the Petitioners therein named and every of them
of which the Sheriff or Collector of Cecil County and all other

Persons concerned are hereby enjoined to take Notice.

Commission of Letter of Marque & Reprisal issued to Wil-
liam Weems Commander of the Sloop Little Sam, mounting 6
Carriage Guns, 4 Swivels & 12 small Arms belonging to David
Weems, Samuel Chew & others of Maryland
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Shaw,
two hundred and eighty one Pounds, eighteen shillings & six
Pence due per Acct passed by the Depy Aud

In Council Annapolis 4th Feby 1779
Sir.
We cannot, at present, say any Thing about the Prisoners
taken by Captain Sanders more than, that they be put into
close Confinement. We expect five or six more from Herring
Bay, whom we shall send up, and then give Orders with
respect to the Whole.
