Wednesday 13 Ianuary 1779.

Present as on yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Frederick
Green Two hundred and fifty Pounds on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to James Hodges Iunr Ninty
two Pounds, five Shillings for the use of William Houston p
Acct passed by the Prinl Cl. to A. G.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut. James Fernandes of
the Ist Maryland Regiment in the Continental Service One
hundred and fifty Pounds due to him by a Resolution of the
General Assembly

Thursday 14 January 1779

Present as on yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to his Excel-
lency Governor Johnson, Two hundred & forty six Pounds for
41 Blankets sold the State

Friday 15th January 1779

Present as on yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Allen
Quynn Twenty eight Pounds for the Use of Wm Gordon per
Acct passed by the Prinl Cl. to the Aud. Genl
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt.
Campbell, eleven Pounds, five shillings due to him per Acct
passed by the Prinl Cl. to the Aud. Genl and also the further
Sum of Two hundred and two Pounds, fifteen shillings for the
Use of the Noncommissioned Officers and Privates of his
Compy due to them for deficiency of Cloathing for the year
1778 per Acct passed by the Prinl Cl.

Saturday 16 January 1779

Present as on yesterday. Danl Carroll Esqr Attended.
By and with the advice of the Council Death Warrant
issued to Negroe Matt, Slave of William Dawson of Talbot
County for Murder
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Commo-
dore Thomas Grason three hundred and seventy eight Pounds,
one shilling & four Pence on Account of the Conqueror Galley
per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
