his Commission
Commission of Letter of Marque & Reprisal issued to
Aquila Johns, Commander of the Ship Buckskin, 200 Tons
burthen, mounting 28 Carriage Guns, and 24 small Arms,
belonging to Samuel and Robert Purviance; John Crockett &
others of Baltimore

Monday n January 1779

Present as on Saturday
Commission of Letter of Marque & Reprisal issued to
Ignatius Fenwick Commander of the Brigantine Sally 90 Tons
burthen, mounting 10 Carriage Guns, 4 Swivels and 15 small
Arms, belonging to Archibald Buchanan, Daniel Bowley,
William Hammond & others of Baltimore
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William
Hyde sixty five Pounds Eighteen Shillings & six Pence half
Penny due him for his Attendance as Assistant Cl. to the
Governor & Council due the 5 Instant
