That the said Treasurer pay to Elie Vallette Thirty three
Pounds and Ten Pence due himself and the further Sum of
Thirteen Pounds, three shillings & nine Pence for the use of
Elizabeth Brooks per Accts passed by the And. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to James McComas six Pounds
ten shillings for the use of Elizabeth Firmagan per Acct
passed by the Prinl Cl. to the A Gl
That the said Treasurer pay to George Hilliary Twenty
two Pounds fourteen shillings per Acct passed by the Prinl Cl.
to the Aud. Genl
Mr Howes Goldsborough from the House of Delegates
delivers to His Excellency certain Resolutions of the Genl
Assembly empowering and requesting the Govr & Council to
fit and Man &ca the Gallies, Independence and Baltimore to
go on an Expedition against East Florida &ca
Mr Lloyd from the House of Delegates delivers to his
Excellency certain Resolutions of the General Assembly of
the 4th Inst, respecting the Sale of the Sloop Molly and the
Payment of Mr Harrison's Claim
By Virtue and in Pursuance of the Resolution of the
General Assembly passed the fourth Day of this Instant the
Governor and Council have confirmed and hereby do confirm
the Sale of the Sloop Molly sold by Mr Richard Harrison to a
certain William Bingham in the West Indies
Ordered that the Commissioner for omitting Bills of Credit
pay to Richard Harrison Two hundred and one Pounds Ten
shillings and ten pence in Gold or Silver at Seven shillings
and six pence for each Dollar, twenty seven shillings and six
pence for each Pistole and half Ives at Three Pounds each
Bal" of Account passed by the Aud. Genl
Commissions issued to Isaac Handy appd Capt. Ballard
Bozman 1 Ll Lazarus Maddox 2a Lieut, James Curtis Ensign
James Elzey Capt, John Irving 1 Lieut, William Jones 2d
Lieut, John Flemming Ensign
Thomas King Capt, Benjamin Schoolfield Ist Lieut, Robert
Bailey 2d Lieut, Isaac Curtis Ens. John Turpin 1 Lieut of
Capt. John Williams Compy Thomas Dixon 2d Lieut and
Thomas Handy Ensign belonging to the Princess Ann
Battalion of Militia in Somerset County

Tuesday 8th December 1778.

Present as on yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Isaac
Harris Eight hundred and ninty two pounds, ten shillings due
