who neglected to do it till the last August Court, and so it is
that I am kept out of the money. I hope your Excellency will
be pleased to pay me, as it was at your Request and my
Colonel's and to serve my Country that I went.

Friday 13th November 1778

Present as on yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Peregrine
Lethrbury Esqr one hundred and fourteen Pounds one shilling
& six Pence for the use of Robert Blake and the further Sum
of Forty six Pounds two shillings & six Pence for the use of
James Claypoole per Accounts passed by the Aud. Genl
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William
Hyde forty one Pounds, thirteen shillings and four Pence due
him for 2 months Salary as Clerk Assistant to the Council due
the 5th Instant
That the said Treasurer pay to Peregrine Lethrbury Esquire
fifteen hundred Pounds, to be delivered over to John Bolton
of Chester Town on Acct and also the further Sum of Fifteen
hundred Pounds to be delivered over to Donaldson Yeates
Esquire on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to William Nevin Fifty three
Pounds, seven shillings and six Pence for the use of William
Nevin & Co per Acct passed by Prinl Cl.
That the said Treasurer pay to Amos Davis thirty four
Pounds, two shillings and six pence per Account passed by
the Prinl Cl. to the Aud. Genl
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut. Gale thirty
one Blankets for the use of Capt. Campbells Compy of
Matroses

Saturday 14th November 1778

Present as on Yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer Pay to Joseph
Cowman Junr fifty seven Pounds, fifteen shillings per Account
passed by the Auditor Genl

John Woodfield a Private in Capt Campbells Company of

Matrosses having been sick in the Hospital for upwards of
Eighteen Months and Doctr Cheney & Doctr Johnson being of
Opinion that the Country Air would be of service to him he is
therefore Permitted to go on Furlough for one Month from
this Date
