Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt.
Alex. Furnival two hundred Pounds to be delivered over to
Saml Gerock on Acct
That the said Treasurer pay to Allen Quynn Thirty pounds
per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Michael
Foy Forty Pounds, two shillings per Acct passed by the Prinl
Cl. to the A Genl
Monday 28th September 1778
Present as on Saturday. Daniel Carroll Esquire Attended
On the Petition of William West of Dorchester County and
the Deposition of Solomon West and Charles Carter, lodged
therewith, there appearing good ground to believe that the
Inlistment of the said William West was not voluntary but
that great violence was used towards him and Measures highly
unjustifiable were taken to compel him to Inlist. It is there-
fore Ordered by this Board that the said Wm West be not
taken or in any manner treated as a Soldier or Deserter til
the Matter be fully heard by this Board or the further Order
of this Board be obtained.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas
Saml Poole three Pounds for the use of Emanuel Brewer per
Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Beriah Maybury one
hundred and twenty one Pounds, seven shillings and ten pence
per Acct passed by the Prinl Cl. to the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Beriah Maybury fifty
Pounds on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Doct. Cheney nine Pounds,
four shillings and nine Pence and also the further Sum of two
Pounds eighteen shillings and six Pence per Accts passed by
the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Charles Wallace two thou-
sand five hundred and sixty one Pounds, five shillings and
three Pence due Wallace Davidson and Johnson per Acct
passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to John Green eight Pounds,
twelve shillings and six Pence per Acct passed by the Aud
Genl
