That the said Treasurer pay to William Logan Thirty seven
shillings and six Pence per Acct passed by the Prinl Cl. to the
Aud. Genl

By his Excellency Thomas Johnson Esqr Govr of Maryland.
A Proclamation.

Whereas the house of Senate stands adjourned to the first
Monday in November next, and the house of Delegates stands
Adjourned to the third Day of October. I have thought
proper that the General Assembly of this State should meet
on Monday the ninteenth Day of October next, and do there-
fore in Virtue of the Power with which I am invested by the
Constitution and Form of Government, hereby Appoint the
said Ninteenth Day of October for the meeting and holding
the General Assembly, of which the several Sheriffs within
this State are hereby enjoined to give public and due Notice
Given at Annapolis this Twenty third Day of September
Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and seventy eight
By his Excellency's Command Th Johnson

Thursday 24 September 1778

Present as on yesterday except James Brice Esqr
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Robert
Reith eight Pounds six shillings & Eight Pence for 1 Mo
Attenda as Messenger to the Govr & Council from the 23d
Augt last
Commission of a Letter of Marque and Reprisal issued to
Henry Geddes Commander of the Sloop Richmond mounting
two Carriage Guns, six Cohorns and six small Arms navigated
with 12 Men, 60 Tons burthen belonging to Samuel and Rob-
ert Purviance & Co Baltimore.
Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to Doct.
John Johnson Cloth for a Great Coat with Trimmings.
That the said Commissary of Stores deliver to Capt. Alexa
Furnival 44 Blanketts for the use of his Compy
That the western shore Treasurer Pay to Capt Alexander
Furnival one hundred and ninty eight Pounds, eight shillings
and one penny due his Compy and the further Sum of Twelve
Pounds for the use of Coms Garretson per Accts passed by the
Prinl Cl. to the A Gl
