That the said Treasurer pay to William Hyde one hundred
and four Pounds, three shillings and four pence for five months
Attenda as Assistant Cl. to the Council from 5 April to this
Day.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut William Judah two
hundred and fifty four Pounds five shillings and seven pence
per Acct passed by the A. Gl
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Clagget three hun-
dred and fifty four Pounds, ninteen shillings and five pence on
Account.

Monday 7 September 1778.

Present as on Saturday except T Sim Lee & Edward Lloyd
Esquires.
Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut.
Gale Serge Denim sufficient for a Waistcoat and Breeches
with Trimings.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut.
William Judah five hundred Pounds on Account.
Capt. Thomas Coward a Native of this State who hath been
absent therefrom for about one year and eight months, last
past a prisoner on board the British ships, and hath lately that
is to say within three months now last past returned into
this State appeared before the Council and before them did
take repeat and subscribe the Oath of Fidelity and support to
this State.

Tuesday 8th September 1778

Present as on yesterday.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Han-
son seven Pounds nine shillings and two pence per Account
passed by the A Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Paul Conner Ninty five
Pounds thirteen shillings for the use of Thomas Johns per
Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Frederick Cromer, twelve
pounds eighteen shillings and three pence and one hundred
and twenty seven pounds sixteen shillings and Eight Pence
for the use of John Laypold as per Accounts passed by the
Auditor General.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. William Campbell,
five pounds ten shillings for the use of Lieut Gale and two
hundred and Eighty three Pounds, ten shillings due to his
Company per Accounts passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Joshua Testal, Thirty two
Pounds eight shillings and four pence for the use of Captain
