Saturday r August 1778

Present as on Yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer Pay to John
Kirby fifty four Pounds per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Robertson Stevens two
thousand two hundred and twenty three Pounds eleven shil-
lings and five Pence to be delivered over to James Sullivan
Purchaser of Provisions in Dor. County as per Accts passed
by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Robertson Stevens thirty six
Pounds for the use of Daniel James Brookes, sixty six Pounds
for the use of Patrick Broughton and the further Sum of
twenty four Pounds for the use of Benjamin Bailey per Accts
passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Commodore Thomas Grason
one hundred Pounds for the use of the Conqueror Galley to
be accounted for
That the said Treasurer Pay to Robertson Stevens one
hundred Pounds per Acct passed by the Prinl Cl. and also the
further Sum of eight hundred and twenty nine Pounds,
eighteen shillings and eleven Pence per Account passed by
the Aud. Gen'
That the said Treasurer Pay to James Lawrence fifty nine
Pounds, sixteen shillings due to him per Acc't passed by the
Aud. Genl

Monday 3d August 1778

Present as on Saturday except T Sim Lee Esquire.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer Pay to Capt. De
Segond two hundred and four Pounds due to him per Acct
passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to John Moore four hundred
and fifteen Pounds ten shillings for 2 hhds and 7 Barrels of
Whiskey Purchased of him by Comr Grason for the State.
That the said Treasurer Pay to Philip Sullivan a Private in
the 7th Maryland Regt of Contl Troops, who was wounded and
taken Prisoner on Staten Island ten Pounds in part of pay due
him to be charged to the said Regiment.
