      Lib. C. B.     & Territory and all others whome it may concerne to take due

            Notice hereof & to give their ready obedience accordingly,

            Given at our Court at Kensington the third day of March

            169 1/2 in the ffourth yeare of our Reign.

     

     

                     By his Majties Comand

                          Nottingham.

     

          p. 3  His Exncie demanded a List of the Councellors Names ac

            cording to the Kings instructions and their present Qualifica

            tions, which was delivered him.

     

            His Exncie The Oaths appointed by Act of Parliamt to be

            & Councel

            lots sworne   taken instead of the Oaths of Allegeance & Supre

                   macy, together with the Oath of Comander in Chiefe

            were administred to his according to forme which haveing

            taken he was pleased to administer the said Oaths and the

            Oath of a Councellor to Sr Thomas Laurence, Coll Nehemiah

            Blackiston, Coll Nicholas Greenberry Coll Charles Hutchins,

            Coll David Browne, Thomas Tench Esq, Capt John Addison

            & Thomas Brooke Esq.

     

            Mr LLewel- John LLewellin sworne Clerk of the Councill,

            lin swonne           .

                   and hath alsoe administred to him the aforesd Oaths

            appointed by Act of Parliamt

     

            Officers Civill & His Exncie was pleased, by advice of the Councill,

            Military to Order that, vpon his Accession to the Governmt

            continued Proclamation should issue for the continueing of all

            by Prociam-      . .    . .    . .   .

            ation  Officers & Ministers Civill & Military within this

                   Province in their respective stations, Officers &

            places till further Orders, and requiring them accordingly to

            execute & performe their Duties therein.

     

              Adjourne till to Morrow Morning 9 Clock.

     

     

        September the 26th 1693: Councill Mett & satt.
