      Lib. C. B. finding that he hath not obtained any further Comission for

         p. the same Office from yor Honors the present Governors of this

            Province, Wee humbly conceive his Returne or serveing of

            any of their Mats Comands as Sheriffe will not be sufficient or

            Valid in Law but afford great cause of Error in Proceedings;

            and knowing that this their Mats County Court consists of

            Justices, Sheriffe & Clerk, any of which not being duely quali

            fyed according to Law renders the Proceedings Vicious.

              Wee humbly Represent the same to yot Honors and pray

            yor advice in the premises that our Proceedings may be Agree

            able to Law and have at present adjourned the Court for the

            Causes aforesd and in humble expectation of your Honors

            favourable interpretation of this our Address and Answer to

            the same, Wee subscribe ourselves,

            Venire Ordered that the severall & Respective Justices

              Ordered to issue agt signeing the aforesd Letter be sumoned by their

        p. xoo  the aforesd Maties Writ of Venire to come & appear at the next

            Justices of Provinciall Court of this Province to be holden at the

            County City of St Maries; To Answer to such things as on

            their Maties behalfe shall then & there be objected against them.

            Edward Ordered that Edward ffilpot of Charles County be

            Ordered allowed out of the next publick Leavy to be laid the

            400 l tob Sume of Hour hundred pounds of Tobo for himselfe

            & horse goeing an Express to Capt Addisons & back again.

              At a Councill held at Benedict Leonard Towne in Calvert

            County, at the house of Mr Jonathan Wilson the 14th day of

            July in the Sixth yeare of the Reign of our Soveraign Lord &

            Lady William & Mary King & Queen of England &Ca Annoq
