     Read two Letters from the Governor of New Yorke Dated

   2d of March & 24th of May last past, re!ateing to some further P. 92

   Supplye from this place towards their Assistance.

  

   Lre Ordered Ordered that an Answer to the same be sent to

   to be sent to .     .

   the Governr acquaint his Excellency with the present indigency

   of New Yorke and want of a Banck to give any present assistance,

      but as soon as the Governor Comissionated for this

  

   Province Arrives, whoe is now here dayly Expected the w.

   Matter will be Represented to the Assembly and then a

   further Answer shall be Given.

     Delivered at the Board the Collector of New Yorkes Receipt w.

   for 250' 8d sterl thither Remitted from this Governmt by the

   hands of Mr Roger Newman, the Tenor whereof follows in

   these Words, Vizt

  

   Collector of Received from Roger Newman Esqr Nine Setts of

   New Yorkes

   Receipt Bills of Exchange drawne by severall Persons on

          Merchants in England & Boston in New England,

          all Three Bills to each Sett, for severall Sumes, the

   whole amounting to Two hundred & ffifty Pounds Eight shill

   and ifour pence, being sent by the Governmt of Maryland,

   pursueant to their Maties Letter of the first of March 1692 / 3 to

   the said Governmt toward the Defence of this Province of New

   Yorke against the ifrench and Indians, I say Recd the thirtieth

   of Aprill 1694 p me
