              Esqr Piaters Know all Men by these Presents that Wee George

             Navall

        p.99  Officers Plater & 1 homas Tench of the Province of Maryland

              Bond Esqr are held & firmely bound Unto their Maties King

              William & Queen Mary in the full & just Sume of Two

              thousand Pounds of good & lawful money of England, to be

              paid to them their Heires or Successors to the which paymt

              well & truely to be made & done Wee binde Us & either of

              Us, our & either of our Heirs, Executors Administrators joyntly

              & severally for the whole and in the whole in the Sume above-

              said Sealed with our Seales Dated the Seaventh day of Octo

              ber Annoq Domini 1693.

                The Condicon of the above Obligation is such that Whereas

              the above bound George Plater is Nominated & appointed

              Navall Officer for the port of petuxant in the Province afore

              said; Now if the above bound George Plater performe and

              discharge the Trust reposed in him and Render a just & true

              Account of all Moneys, Dues or other Duties by him Collected

              & Received or to be Collected & Received as Navall Officer

              to such person or persons qualifyed to Demand the same when

              required then the above Obligation to be Void else to stand,

              Remaine & be in full force & Vertue.
