              appeareing to be tarde, in such like case, to be forthwith like

              wise prosecuted, Notwithstanding a former Order of this

              Board of the 14th of ffebry last, which gives Twelve Months

              time longer to procure Certificate &Ca

              Embargoe Ordered that an Embargoe & stop be put vpon

              on ships

              bound for all ships & Vessells bound for Europe, Untill the

              Europe till 20th day of June next, and that none be cleared till

              20th of June

             next   that time, nor afterwards to be cleared to Sayle

                    vnder the Number of ffive ships, to Meet at the

              Mouth of Petuxant River.

              Motion abt It being this day Represented in Councill that

              Land Rec

              ords bought whereas William Hemsley of Talbot County had

              by Hemsley purchased from Mr John LLewellin severall Papers

              & Ordr

             thereon   & Coppyes of Land Records, proveing prejudiciall

                    as well to the just profits & perquisites accrueing

              to the Honoble the Secretary out of the Land Office, as alsoe

              detrimentall & pernicious to severall the inhabitants & good

           p. 83  people of that County, Moveing that some care might be

              taken therein—Resolved & Ordered therevpon that the said

              Hemsley deliver Unto Mr Attorney Gen” all such Papers &

              Coppyes soe as aforesd bought & received; and that from

              henceforward he altogether Surcease from makeing Use of

              the same, Under penalty of being proceeded against according

              to the Rigour & Severity of the Law.

              Provinciali Produced at the Board certain Rules drawne vp

              Court Rules

              read & Or- for the better Regulateing the Proceedings of the

              dered Coppy Provinciall Court, the which being read & approved

              to be sent to

              each County of by the Board,—their Honors were pleased to

              &ca Order as it is hereby Ordered that Coppyes thereof

              be forthwith made & transmitted to the severall County Courts

              in Order to be there set vp and made publick; and that all

              Persons concerned take due Notice of the same accordingly.

              Mr Wm Ordered that Mr William Dent be allowed out of

              Dent Or

              dered to be the next publick Leavye to be laid, the Sume of One

              pd 1000 l tob thousand Pounds of Tobacco, for his Pains in draw-

              next Leavy ing vp the aforesd Rules of the Provinciall Court.

               Presented to the Board the following Certificate relateing

              to Dorchester County Parishes laid out according to Act &cc

           p. 84 the which was Ordered to be Entered and is as follows.
