Comission Ordered thai Comission of the Peace & for Tryall Lib. C. B. for Talbot County of Causes in Talbot County be forthwith prepared
9rder'd to according to Usuall Custome & forme, con stituteing issue & appointing the following Persons, Comissionrs &
Justices, Vizt Mr Edward Man, Mr William ffinney, Mr James Smith, Mr Robert Smith, Mr John Davies, Mr William Coursey, Mr John Whittington, Mr Hugh Sherwood, Mr Thomas Bow- dell, Mr James Morphey & Mr John Hawkins; and that the ifour ffirst persons therein Nominated be of the Quorum.
Esq Ran- Vpon Motion made by Esq Randolph their Mats dolphs Mo tion abt the Surveyor Genll & Deputy Auditor relateing to the Kings part condemnation of the Ship Margaret of London with her Cargoe &Ca humbly praying that consideration thereon might be taken by this Board for the due payment of the Kings part of the said Ship & Cargoe according to Appraisement of the same made; Ordered therevpon as it is hereby Ordered that George Plater Esq their Maties Receiver make Application to the party or parties in whose hands their Mats part of the said ship & Cargoe lyes, and that vpon p. 81 Refuseall or delay of payment he take all the speedy & most proper Methods & courses possible to Secure & Collect the same for their Mats Use, and likewise take due Care to Collect & Receive all other Revenues, Dues & Duties belonging to their Mats within this Province, Untill further Order. Councill ap. Councill appointed to Meet at Battle Towne the 1 3th day of June next in Order to Appoint Sherriffes, tle Towne whoe vpon Receipt of their Comission are to give &cabond with two sufficient Securities in a Sume Suita ble to the Number of Titheables, where they shall
beare Office, for the due discharge of the same which bonds afterwards to be duely transmitted to the Secretaries Office, there to be lodged & kept, and that the Usuall Oath of Sherriffe be administered to each person soe appointed together with the Oaths appointed by Act of Parliament, instead of the Oaths of Allegiance & Supremacy either before one of the Councill or two of the Justices of the County where such Sherriffe lives & beares Office.
Motion about Navigation Vpon Motion made by George Plater Esqr relate- bonds & ing to Navigation bonds, acquainting the Board Ordr thereon that whereas he had received good information that p. 82 severall Masters of Ships whoe Sayled out of these parts went directly to Scotland contrary to the tenor of their severall Bonds, and therefore prayed the Directions of their Honors therein—Ordered therevpon as it is hereby Ordered that all
