              Thomas Pitt 95 p Comp. the danger of the Seas only Excepted; Dated at

                    the Custom House Exon the Seventh day of

            September in the Seventh year of the Reign of our Soveraign

            Lord William the Third, King of England &ca Annoq

            Domini 1695.

     

              Signed by us the Commissionrs of his Mats Customs at the

            Custom House London 9th Septembr 1695.

              fform of a Certificate for a Ship tht gives bond in England,

            to Return to England, Wales or Berwick only.

     

              On the Back of the abovesd Certificate was thus written,

            Vizt These are to Certifye That by Affidavit of Dana Ivie and

            Henry Arthur of Exon Merchts remaining with the Comrs of

            his Mats Customs, It is Affirmed That themselves George

            Bass of Exmouth And Mary Franckmore of Topsham all

            his Mats naturall born Subjects are the flull & Sole Ownrs of

            the Ship Charles within mention'd whereof Richd Bass is

            master And that noe fforreignr or Alien directly or Indirectly

            hath any part Share or Interest in the sd Ship.

            Custom House, London            Rich. Savage

              11th Septembr 1695..

     

     

                    Novembr the 13th 1696.

            Ordr recd:      Then recd: of Henry Denton an Order of his

            ford &ca Exncy Dated the 6th instant Relating to the Entring

                   up the Provll Court Judgmts I say Recd by me,
