             Strawbridge Office of Attr (informacon may be suggested a

             barrator) & also from any other place.

             Sumons &cca Jones, & John Strawbridge be by the Sheriff of Ann

             by the Shrrff Arrundell County immediately Sumon'd to appear

             o n at this Board to Answer to such questions as shall

             be proposed to them, whereof they are not to fail & let him

             have here this Surnons.

               The Sheriff pursuant thereto Came and made Return that

             he had Sumond the above mention'd parties who accordingly

             made their appearance and were Ordered Severally to give

             their Depositions before one of his Mats Justices of the pro

             vinciall Court in relacon to the matter & tht afterwards the

             sd Depositions & aforemention'd paper be Referred to Mr

             Attr and Sollicitor Genll for them to make Report thereon

             with all convenient Speed.

               His Exncy is pleased to Demand of the Board if there be

             anything further (at prsent) to be Offered in Councill who say

             there is not.

                      October the 12th 1696.

             Thomas's Whereas by his mats Royall Ordr in Councill of

             Land Office the 13th of ffebry Anno 1695 and produced & Read

             to and by his Mats honrble Councill here the 20th of may last

             past, it is Signifyed and declared that the Land Office of this

      Whitehall   Province is in the Rt of the honrble Sr Thomas Laurence Barront

             Secretary and that the Records thereof are alone proper to be

             kept by him &cca And fforasmuch as for want of a due infor
