           prsented the following Answer to the Board, Vizt

                     Annapolis, October the 10th, 1696

           Answer abt

           Books & In Obedience to yor Exncys Especiall Command, I

           papers wch humbly Certifye to your Exncy that as to those Books

           he purchas'd

           of Mr Llew- and Papers which I purchased of Mr Llewellin were

           ellin. designed for no other Use, than for my own Private

           Satisfaction, I further Humbly Certifye to yor Exncys that those

           papers or bookes which I bought that now there is noe such

           thing in Nature, And that there now Only Remains with me

           two collections which I made before the Purchase all WCh J

           testifye Under my hand and am your Exncys humble and obe

           dient Servant

           Ordr referred Ordered that the same be Referred to Mr Attor

            ney & Sollicitor Genll for them to Return their

           Genii Opinions thereon to this Board with all convenient

           Speed.

           Ordr abt Mr Ordered that it be Referred to Mr Attorney and

           Lewellins . .

           Selling a Sollicitor Genll whether Mr John LLewellins selling

           copY of all a Copy of all the Certificates for Land in Talbot

           in hot County, was an illegall Act or not, And that

          Co:     they make Report thereof to this Board with all

           Speed, and whether he ought not to be prosecuted upon the

           Kings Accot

           Sr Thomas's It being Represented by the honrble Sr Thomas

           Represen-

           tacön abt a Laurence Barront Secretary that the Justices of

           Seal for Prince Georges County have Applyed themselves

                  to him for a Seal for the sd County, being a New

           County Erected County; Ordered thereupon that a Seal be

           provided accordingly, at the charge of the sd County; and that

     Whitehail Mr Charles Beckweth of Petuxant be imployed abt it, and that

           in the interim they make Use of the Private Seal belonging to

           the Cheif Justice of the sd Court.

           Ordr abt Ordered that the Clerks of the Severall County

             Courts and Vestrys make Return of their County

           the severall Leavys and Vestry proceedings next December

           Co: Leavys & Vestry Court, and so from that time Annually pursuant to

          proceedings    the late Act of Assembly, and tht the Sherriffs give
