Lib. H. D. proper Oath for the same and the Oaths appointed by Act of Parliamt to be taken instead of the Oaths of Allegiance and
Supremacy & subscribed to the Test, the which the sd Majr
King is hereby Empowered to Administer as also to take yor
Bond of one thousand pounds and Security for yor due per
formance of yor sd place & saving harmless & indemnifying
me the sd ffrancis Nicholson in all Points by reason of this
Commission; Given under my hand and Seal at the Port of
Annapolis this Ninth day of October in the Eighth year of the
Reign of our Soveraign Lord King William the Third &ca

The sd Lt Coll: Richardson appearing & asking Pardon of his Exncy & Councill for his rude behaviour at this Board is thereupon Remitted his sd Offence and Restored as before.
Ordr to the Lievtent Coll Richardson comes and informs this Bal Co. to Board how that one Anthony Drew of Baltemore Sumons Mr County did publickly declare in the hearing of Mr Anthony John Hall and Majr James Maxwell of the sd County Drewhow that it was Treason or petty Treason to draw up a Company of Soldiers in the ifield without a Commission; Whitehall Ordered thereupon that the Sherriffe of the sd County Cause the sd Anthony Drew to be and appear before his Exncy in Councill the ffirst Tuseday of December next and that he Sumons Mr Hall to be then and there present to give in Evi dence &cca
Mr Hoskins Vpon producincr a New Provinciall Commission, inserted in . . the provll it being Represented that some person wants to be Commission put in the sd Commission instead of W John Stone
Whitehall of Charles County; Mr Philip Hoskins of the sd County was by Ordr inserted in his Stead and the sd Commission Signed by his Exncy and passed the broad Seal of the province.
The honrble Ordered that if the honrble Thomas Tench Esq has Whitehall Thomas Tench Esqr ffinished his business in the Commissaries Office in admitted in relation to Govr Copleys Estate, that he be there
