Lib. C. B. Humbly Sheweth ffrancis Mal. That Whereas one Richard Bennit of Nancemum dens Pet p Resurvey River in the Colony of Virginia Esqr had formerly &Ca Granted Unto him by Letters patent from Cecilius p. 63 late Lord Baltemore &ca Twelve hundred & ffifty Acres of Land lyeing vpon the Clifts in Calvert County called Lower Bennitt, being soe invested as aforesaid with the said Land Did for diverse good Causes & considerations him therevnto Moveing bargain Sell, Alien & Make over vnto one John Tucker of the Clifts aforesd One hundred & ffifty Acres of the aforesd Tract of Land being the Southermost part of the said 1 250 Acres; And alsoe the said Richard Bennit did for diverse good Causes bargain, Sell, Aliene & make over Unto one Thomas Sterling ffive hundred Acres of the aforesaid parcell of Land being the midiemost part of the said 1250 Acres And further the said Richard Bennit did for good considerations make over vnto one Stephen Benson the remaining Six hun dred Acres of Land being the Northermost part of the said 1250 Acres. But the said Stephen Benson afterwards for good Reasons & considerations did Release, discharge & make Voyd the aforesd Bill of Sale for the Six hundred Acres aforesd And after that did purchase of the said Richd Bennit only Two hundred Acres of the said Land, which the said Richard Ben- nit did for diverse considerations bargain, Sell, Aliene & make over to the said Benson lyeing to the Northward of the said Sterlings 500 Acres And also the said Richard Bennit did for diverse good causes & considerations bargain Sell, Aliene & make over to one ffrancis Maiden (your Honors Petr) the Northermost & Remaining part of the aforesd parcell of Land, supposed to contain ifour hundred Acres, be the same little, more or less. p. 64 Yor Petr therefore humbly Supplicates this Honble Board to Grant him Warrant of Resurvey for the Resurvey of the aforesd Parcell of Land called Lower Bennit containing 1250 Acres, according to the true Antient Meets & Bounds thereof, and alsoe the severall parceils of Land formerly Sold by the said Richard Bennit, Vizt the 150 Acres to John Tucker, the 500 Acres to Thomas Sterling the 200 Acres to Stephen Ben son may be laid out & bounded according to just & exact Surveys in the presence of the Sherriffe of Calvert County and a Jurye by him Sumoned, Impannelled & Sworne And that the Remaining 400 Acres may be adjudged to your Petr to prevent all future disputes & differences amongst the severall Pur chasers of the aforesd Parcells of Land containing 1 250 Acres, concerning the Bounds of their severall Divisions. And yor Petr as in duty bound shall Ever pray &Ca
