Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1693 94. 53
Ordered that if the severall Persons concerned and men- Lib. C. B. tioned in the said Petition will by consent Joyne in the Resur vey of the said severall Tracts of Land, the Petr produceing Certificate, vnder their hands of their complyance thereto, to this Board the next Meeing of the Councill; the Petitioner shall then have further Order therein.
At a Councill held at the Councill Chambcr in the City of p. St Maryes, the ffirst day of May, in the Sixth yeare of the Reign of our Soveraign Lord & Lady William & Mary King & Queen of England &Ca Annoq Domini 1694

Esqr Brookes The Honble Thomas Brooke Esqr one of their Mats of Justices Comissionated for the Provinciall Court, tooke this day at the Board the Oaths appointed by Act of Parliament instead of the Oaths of Allegiance & Supremacy, as a!soe the Usuall Oath of Justice of the said Court. And whereas there is but a small appearance, there fore by advice in Councill Ordered that the Justices now present Repaire to the State house & Adjourne the said Court till to Morrow Morning Tenn Clock.

Sr Tho: Sr Thomas Laurence delivered to his Exncy in p. 66 Laurence Restored to Councill the Queens Order of the 28th of September his place of 1693, directing the restoreing him the said Sr Thomas Counsellor &CaLaurence to his place of Counsellor & Judge of the Provinciall Court—Ordered that it be Entered in the Councill Booke and to be observed accordingly.
