   receive from him for the manageing collecting and Account- Lib. H. D.

   ing of and for our sd Revenues Provided the same be not con

   trary to the Ordr and directions given unto you or to be given

   by us or our Commissionrs of Treasury or High Treasurer for

   the time being and Provided also that you doe not in any wise

   or any other by yor Ordr intermedle with the Moyety of two

   Shillings p hogshead the Duty of 14s p Tun or the Quitt rents

   belonging to my Lord Baltemore as Proprietor of our sd Prov

   ince but that you leave the same to be Collected and received

   by the sd Lord Baltemore or his Agents without any lett or

   hindrance from you or yor undr Officers Given at our Court at

   the Hague the Eighth day of October N S: 1695 in the 7th

   year of our Reign.

               Coll:   David Browne

             James ffrisby Esq         

     Lieutent Coll: Richardson of Baltemore County Appearing

   here at this board to Answer a certain complaint made agt

   him for marrying Thomas Hedge of the sd County who has a

   wife in England, and tht the sd Coll: Richardson upon his

   Examination justifying himself therein and behaving himself

   in a Scornful & deriding manner in Contempt of his Mats Au

   thority and this honrble board; Ordered therefore that the sd

   Lt Coll Richardson be dismissed from all manner of Publick

   imploy & places within this Province & prosecuted for the

   Same, and tht the sheriff of Ann Arrll County do upon sight

   hereof take the sd Lt Coll: Richardson into Custody and him

   Safe keep, Untill he shall thence be delivered by due course

   of Law.

  

                September the 30th 1696.
