   Imposts and proffits within the sd Precinct together with the Lib. H. D.

   ffee or sallary of one hundred pounds p Annum And for and

   dureing our pleasure and lastly we doe hereby Authorise and

   require the Govr of our sd Province and all other Officers and p. 22

   Ministers whom it Shall or may concern to make allowance of

   the sd ffee or Sallary of one hundred pounds p Annum to the

   sd George Muschamp According to the true intent and mean

   ing of these presents without any further Warrant or directions

   in that behalfe. Provided always and our will and pleasure is

   that the sd George Muschamp doe not take upon him the

   Execution of the Office of our Receiver of our sd Revenue

   before he shall have Given good and Sufficient Security for the

   due performance of his said Trust, Given at the Court at the

   Hague this Eigth day of October N S 1695, in the Seventh

   year of our Reign

   Collector of George Muschamp Esqr Collector and Receiver of our

   Potornock Revenues within the Precinct of Potomack Rivr in

  

   Maryland our Province of Maryland.

  

     Whereas by our Commission bearing date at the Hague

   the 8th day of October N S 1695 We have thought fit to

   Constitute and appoint you Geo Muschamp to be our Collector

   and Receiver of our Revenues within the District of Potomock

   River within our Province of Maryland in America.

     You are carefully and deligently from time to time to gather

   collect and Receive all Revenues Duty's Customes and

   Impositions whatsoever Arising or becoming due unto Us

   and our Governmt within our Said Province. You shall not

   directly or Indirectly either in yor own Name or in the Name

   or Names of any other person or persons or in Company or

   Partnership with any other Trade as a Merchant for your Self

   or as a ifactor or Agent for any other in or for any goods

   Wares or Merchandizes whatsoever.

     You shall constantly make and give unto our Governr or p. 23

   Commandr in Cheif of our sa Province for the time being, and

   to William Blathwayt Esqr Surveyor and Auditor Genll of our

   Revenues in America & his Deputy a true and Just account

   of all such Revenues Customs or Imposts So to be Recd or

   otherwise Accruing unto Us and our Governmt within the
