Vpon representation & Application Ordered by Lib. C. B. cleareing advice, that noe ship or other vessell bound out of p. 54 Ships this Province for Europe be henceforward cleared by any of their Majties Collectors here without giveing security for their calling vpon his Exncy Sr Edmund Andros in Virginia to awaite his Exncies further Directions in that place.
Maryland William & Mary by the Grace of God King & Comission for heareing Queen of England, Scotland, ffrance & Ireland Greenfeilds Defenders of the ffaith &ca To ffrancis Hutchins, Appeale &ca James Keech, ffrancis ffreeman, William Dent & Henry Trueman Gents Greeting Whereas Complaint hath to Us been made by Thomas Greenfei!d & James Bigger of Cal vert County Gents that Administration of the Estate of Richard Nicholas Charlet late of the same County decd hath been sur Greenberry reptitiously obtained & illegally Granted to Mr Henry Lowe & Thomas Collyer of the County aforesaid noe wayes related to or concerned in the same, and that Letters ad colli gendum before Granted to the said Thomas Greenfeild & Thomas Lasker Gent (by vertue whereof the said Thomas Greenfeild had in some measure Proceeded and intermedled with the said Estate & Engaged himselfe into the Concerns & Managemt thereof) were by some private suggestions & Misin formations to the Judge for Probat of Wills &ca Revoked, dis anulled & made void, from which Sentence & determination of the said Judge the said Thomas Greenfeild & James Bigger p. 55 haveing prayed an Appeale according to Act of Assembly of our Province of Maryland in such case made & provided. And Wee being Willing that speedy Justice should be done therein, and a Suitable Releife Granted to persons Greived in such case, Wee have assigned, constituted, Ordained & ap pointed and by these presents Wee doe Ordain, constitute & appoint you the said ffrancis Hutchins, James Keech ffrancis ffreeman, William Dent & Henry Trueman or any Three or more of you (whereof you the said ffrancis Hutchins or James Keech to be alwayes One) our Comissioners especially to inquire into Examine, heare & Determine the Premisses, And to that End you are to Meet at Battle Towne in Calvert County on the 21th day of this instant ffebruary And to Call & Cause to Come before you as well the said Complainants Thomas Greenfeild & James Bigger as alsoe the other persons before Named Henry Lowe & Thomas Collyer, as all other persons therein any wayes concerned. And the severall Alle gations, Testimonies & Proofes on both sides being strictly heard & Examined and the Matter duely Maturely & deliber ately Weighed & Considered to pass & give yor finall Judgemt Doome & Determination therein according to Law & Justice
