        Lib. H. D.     Sayle and Rigging together with other her materialls may be

              decayed, Spoyled and Rendered unserviceable and unfit for

              Use.

                Yor Petitionr humbly Prays yor EXnCYS consideration of the

              premisses for the Releif of yor petitionr by Granting him an

              Ordr to the Sherriff of the County in whose Custody the said

              Ship and materialls are, for the delivery of the sd Sayle and

          p. 375  Riging properly your petrs unto Your petr wch will be great

              favour and Kindness to Yor Petitionor and noe wayes preju

              diciall or injurious to any other person, in Law or Equity and

              Yor Petr as in Duty bound shall

                                         Ever Pray &ca

        WhitehallThe sd Petition was by Ord indorsed thus Vizt.

        By his Exncy the Governr &ca July the 9th 1696.

       

                Ordered that the within petition be Referred to M Attorney

              and Sollicitor Genll for their advice therein, and that they make

              Report to his Exncy accordingly.

                          Signed p Ordr

                     Hen: Denton C of Concil.

       

                 The wth Came Reported thus Vizt.

       

                   To his Exncy the Governr &c.

       

                In Obedience to this Command We are humbly of Opinion

              that if the goods petitioned for were put on board after the

        Whitehall Vessell was Cleared and did properly belong to the pett they

              may be delivered to the petr which is humbly Submitted to

              your Excy by

              By his EXnCY the Governr & Councill &c: July the 10th 1696.

       

        Whitehall The petr making it appear unto Geo: Plater Esq his Mats

              Receiver Genll that he has property in the sd Goods as is by

              him affirmed the prayer of the petr is Granted.
