      List of

      Marriages.

        Ordered that the Sherriffes of the Province forth

      with give Notice to the Severall County Justices and

      Vestrymen within their Repective precincts that the

      sd Justices and Vestrymen take Care to make and

      Cause to be made Strict inquiry in all parts of their

            respective County's and parishes what persons have heen mar

            ryed by Lycenses Since his Exncies arrivall in this province, and

            who have marryed without Lycenses &Ca or asked to Church;

            And that the sd Accot be given to the Severall Vestry and

            County Clerks who are to make an Exact List there of& Return

            the Same unto his Exncy at the port of Annapolis by the 29th

            day of September next, under penalty of being proceeded agt

            for Contempt.

            Ordr to the Ordered that the Colonels of Ann Arrundell, Prince

            Colonels of

            the ffrontier Georges, Baltemore & Caecill Counties (being ffron

            County's tier Counties) have their Severali Troops and Com

            panies always in a Readiness with their Arms well fixed (upon

            any occasion which may happen) and upon discovery by any

            person of either ifrench or fforreign Indians, that notice by

            such person be forthwith given to his Exncy the Govt and to

            the Colonel of that County where such Indians are discovered

            who is to Raise such force as he shai! see necessary.

              This Ordr to be made publick by the Sherriffs of the sd Coun

            ties and copy thereof given to the Colonels of the same.

            Pet abt a Upon the petition of Thomas Ennalls here prefer

            portugueez red relating to a Portugueez boy taken from the

            boy & Ordr Island of the Maderea's by Jeremi: Waters master

            thereon, of the Ship Hare and by him left at Carolina, in wch

            he desired some Releife from this board for procuring the sd

            Boy to be Return'd to his Parents &Cca the wch petition being

            Referred to Mr Attorney and Sollicitor Genll for them to make

            Report what methods were best to be taken therein who report

            ing tht that the best way to Compell the sd Waters thereto,

            was by Warrant from His Exncy which might Cause him to

            give Security for the Same: pursuant Whereto a Warrt being

            drawn was produced, Read and Signed by his Exncy who was

            a!so pleased to write a Lre to the Governr of Carolina there
