      The Same Ordrs and Instructions sent to Capt Brightwell Lib. H. D.

    Coniander of the Party of Rangers upon Potomock. Whitehall

   

   

                    July the 6th 1696.

   

      Came Capt John Oidton and in Answer to the Deposition p. 366

    of Thomas Roberts says that the Information therein Contain'd

    is false, as he Can prove by the whole Company and that he

      had Offered the Leivetents place to him once who Rejected it;

      Whereupon he put in another; And lastly he does say that

    the sd Roberts is altogether unqualiifyed for the sd Office; He

    is Ordered to make answer in writing what way the sd Roberts

    is unqualifyed, and why he was not put in his Leivtent pursu

    ant to Ordr.

   

            Port of Annapolis July the 6th 1696.

    Wm ffree- I do acknowledge to have recd from his Exncy P. 106

    mans Rect

    to his Exncy ffrancis Nicholson Esqr Capt Genll & Governr in

    Mr Work- Chief of his mats Province of Maryland and Mr Anth

    man for

    58 lb 11s o6d  ony Workman in part for a House which I am to

           build, the Sume of ffifty Eight pounds eleven Shills

    & sixpence steri. as witness my hand the day and year abovesd

    Order for Ordered that Mr Attorney and Sollicitor Genll doe

    prosecuting .  .

    Severall imediately (after the Assembly is dissolved) prose-

    Members of cute the Severali Members that have taken Tobo of

    Assembly and Justices the people contrary to Law and the Justices of the

    &ca County Courts for allowing thereof and that they

    prepare what process they think most agreeable to Law agt

    that time.

   

    Ordr for Ordered likewise tht Due prosecution be made

    prosecuting

    Mr Kenelm agt Mr Kenelm Cheseldyn and Coll John Cood, about

    Cheseldyn and Coll the money by them taken (in the time of the Revo

   

    John Cood lution) without the Kings Ordr and that they insist

    &ca upon good Bayie.
