Councill thought fit for the Reasons aforesd to further prorogue Lib. H. D. the said Assembly, And I do hereby proclaim & declare that I do further Prorogue the same vntill the last day of Aprill next p. 290 by which time I expect the Arrivall of the ffieet & his Mats Royall Commands therein; And to the end due notice hereof may be given I do hereby Command the severall Sherriffs of the province to make Proclamation hereof in all publick p!aces within their respective Counties, as also give notice as well to the severall Members of the Councill as to the Burgesses & Delegates within the same that (all Excuses set apart) they then severally appear at the Fort of Annapolis to do & consent vnto such things as (by the favour of God) shall then & there happen to be ordained: And I do hereby further Com mand the said Sheriffs to give notice that the next Provinciall Court will (God wi!ling) be he!d the second Tuseday of May following and that the Court of Chancery will sit the next Munday after the begining of the Provinciall Court and the Governr & Councill for hearing Appeals & Writs of Error the Wednesday after the Court of Chancery, vnto which all persons are to give due & ready obedience as they & every of them will answer the contrary at their perill; Given at the port of Annapolis vnder the Broad Seal of the province this ffourth day of March, in the Eigth year of the Reign of our Soveraign Lord King William the third &ca Annoq Domini 1695/6. ffr: Nicholson God Save the King. ffebry the 29th 1695/6. Humbly Sheweth That heretofore there was an informa Robt Brownes tion exhibitted in the provinciall Court of this prov pet relating to the ship ince against the ship Anna Helena of Belfast, Anna Helena Samuell Murthiand Master, for breach of severall Clauses of the Acts of Trade & Navigation, and that it hap pened vpon bringing the sd In formation that a speedy Tryall could not be had, wherefore your petr to prevent loss of time prayed that the sd ship might be Appraised, and that in case she were condemned vpon the said information he might have p. 291 her at the Appraised Value that thereby he might be Encour aged to Repair & refit her for a Voyage, which was accord ingly granted him; that pursuant therevnto the said Ship was appraised to thirty pounds sterling, for which the pett
