p. 32 At a Councill held at the Councill Chamber, in the City of St Maries the 14th day of Octobr 1693, in the ffifth yeare of the Reign of our Soveraign Lord & Lady King William and Queen Mary &ca Present The Honble Coll Nicholas Greenberry president. Coll Charles Hutchins Tho: Tench Esq Coll David Browne Capt John Addison Clk of the Councills Vpon Application made by the Clerk of this Board ffees settled humbly desireing consideration might be had for &Ca ascertaining his Sallary & flees; Ordered therevpon
by advice in Councill, that the same ffees be allowed the sd Clerk as were formerly assessed & settled by this Board. And that the standing Sallary be respited, till his Excids Returne, for further consideration.
Mr LLeweIl- Mr LLewellin humbly addressin himselfe for the & Ordr Delivery of severall private Papers which lay lodged Delivery of among those Councill papers lately delivered by him to the present Clerk of this board, intimateing that
the same were such as noething Related to or con cerned any Publick affaires or this Honble Councill, Ordered by advice in Councill, that the same be delivered accordingly and before delivery inspected by the Clerk of this Board, to the End he may take cognizance that the same did never pro perly lye before this board.
